SUNDAY WORSHIP--ANOTHER TRADITION OF MAN

Matthews 15:3, But He answering, said unto them, Wherefore do ye also transgress the commandment of YAHVAH for the sake of man tradition?

Traditions in themselves are harmless. One of the definitions of tradition in the WEBSTE'S DICTIONARY is: the handing down orally of stories, beliefs, customs, etc. from generation to generation.

There is nothing wrong with handing down stories, beliefs, customs, etc., the problem is when we believe that the story, or the custom is law. This is what has become of the Sunday Worship, most people believe that Sunday Worship is YAH'S Sabbath day . When in fact it is a man made tradition that for generation to generation has been passed on as if it is YAH'S Sabbath.

Here is where the Sabbath started. Genesis 2:2-3 "Thus ELOHIM finished on the seventh day His work which He had made, and rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And ELOHIM blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it, because therein rested He from all His work which ELOHIM by creating had made."  You see the seventh day is YAHVAH'S Sabbath, a day He hallowed, a day He rested.

Some would have you think that the seventh day Sabbath is for the Jews, but as you see from the scripture above, this was done at creation, before there was a people called Jews, Hebrew, or Israelite.

In Exodus 20: 10-11 reads: But the seventh day is a Sabbath unto YAHVAH thy ELOHIM, thou shalt do no work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter nor thy servant, nor thy handmaid, nor thy beast, nor thy sojourner who is within thy gates. For in six days did YAHVAH make the heavens and the earth, and the sea, and all that in them is, and rested on the seventh day, for this cause YAHVAH blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

We have excepted Sunday tradition without question, because we have failed to study for ourselves, and rightly handling the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15.

It is easy to go along with the program, and justify it by saying "YAH knows my heart". You are right, He knows everything.  But does that make it right to continue to dishonor Our FATHER, Who loves us and has given us so much. We take Salvation for granted, because the Word says, it is a gift.  We don't have to do anything, we cannot earn it, we are under Grace. Is this really rightly handling the Word? Is there something that we are overlooking? Ask yourselves these questions.

Are you aware that YAHSHUA, and all of His disciples kept YAH'S seventh day Sabbath? Even after YAHSHUA'S death and resurrection they kept the seventh day Sabbath.  Some would tell you that it does not matter what day you keep, because we are not under law, we are under grace.  Do they not know that grace do not give them license to break the law and “sin is the transgression of the law.   This is one of the times I think we are trying to use our liberty not to honor YAH. Some have said this to me.

There are Minister, Pastors, and Preachers that will tell you that Sunday is not the Sabbath. They say Sunday is just a day of worship, but they never tell you that you should keep YAH?S Sabbath or how to keep it.

We should worship YAH on every day, but He said, "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy".
