THE SEVENTH-DAY SHABBAT

FACTS about the Seventh-Day Shabbat.

To be able to do something, anything, one must first understand what it is and how to do it right.  The Seventh Day Shabbat is a kadosh part of both the Ten Commandment and the Feast of our Father as enlightened in Shemoth 20:8-11 and Vayqira chapter 23:3  In fact, the first Feast of our Abba is the Seventh Day shabbat, the only weekly Feast amongst the seven.  That is significant.

1.  The Seventh-day shabbat is part of the Ten Commandments, it is the fourth of the Ten Commandments.

Remember Yom Shabbat, to shomer it as kadosh.  Six days shall you labor, and do all your work: But the SEVENTH-DAY is the shabbat of YAHVaH Your Elohim: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your male eved (servant), nor your female eved, nor your cattle, nor your Ger that is within your gates: For in six days YaHVaH made the shamayim and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day: therefore YaHVaH blessed the Shabbat day, and set it apart.
Shemoth 20:8-12

When did the Shabat existed?

From the Beginning of Creation.  In Bereshith 2:1-3 we read:
So the shamayim and the earth were finished, and all their hosts. And on the seventh day Elohim ended His work that He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work that He had made. And Elohim blessed the seventh day, and set it apart: because in it He had rested from all HIs work that Elohim created and made.
Bereshith 2:1-3

YaHVaH Elohim made the world in six days and rested on the seventh day, not by the moon but literal seventh day--He did not count His Shabat by the moon for sure, or He would have said so. And He showed the Yisraelites for forty years, which day is the seventh day shabat when He send them Manna, on the seventh day there is none to pick. Even when there were some who ventured out of their tents to look for it they could not find any Manna on the Shabat day.  YaHVaH repeatedly told them it is their shabat.

The Seventh Day Shabat was instituted right after Creation by YaHVaH Elohim to commemorate His creation, His handiworks.  It was embodied in the Ten Commandments and given to Yisrael through His Servant Moshe after he led them out from the slavery of Mitzraim.

The shabat is a sign between YaHVaH and His people.  Ezekiel 20:20.  When we honor His shabbat we become His people and He our Elohim.

WHEN will the shabat ends?  Never, just as His Ten Commandments is forever and extend from heaven to earth, all men must come and worship Him even in the new heaven and the new earth, it is A MEMORIAL to YaHVaH our Elohim.   Even now and right after crreation, the heavenly host assembled to worship Him in heaven on shabat.  it is a UNIVERSAL day YaHVaH hath made.

For as the new heaven and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before Me, says YaHVaH, so shall your zera and your name reamain.
And it shall come to pass, that from one rosh chodesh to another and from one Shabbat to another,  all flesh shall come to worship before Me, says YaHVaH.
YahshaYah 66:22,23.

The shabat was Instituted by YaHVaH right after creation and it has become part of the Ten commandments--the fourth--and it will last as long as YaHVaH reigns.  He is surely always on His throne.

The Ten commandments is the Royal Law Of Liberty.

If ye are indeed fulfilling a Royal Law, according to scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, nobly are ye doing.
...For a man who shall keep the whole law, but shall stumble in one thing, had become for all things liable. For he that hath said, Do not commit adultery , hath also said, Do not commit murder, but if thou dost not commit adultery, but dost commit murder, thou hast become a transgressor  of the law. So be speaking, and so doing, as they who through means of a law of freedom are about to be judged.  Yaacov 2:8, 10-12.

As part of the Ten Commandments, the Shabat is also part of the Royal Law of Liberty where a man who kept it is free and one who breaks it is cursed.

2.  The Seven Day Shabat is part of the Seven Feasts of our Abba listed in Leviticus chapter 23.

There are Seven Feasts of our Abba, one is a WEEKLY Feast (the Seventh day Shabbat) and the other six are the ANNUAL feasts.

And YaHVaH spake unto Moshe saying:
Speak unto the sons of Yisrael, and thou shalt say unto them, As for the appointed seasons of YaHVaH, which ye shall proclaim as holy convocations, these are they, My Apointed Seasons:
Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day shall there be a shabbat of sacred rest, a holy convocation, no work shall ye do, a shabat shall it be unto YaHVaH, IN ALL YOUR DWELLINGS.

So here we are, the Shabat is not just one of the Ten Commandments but a WEEKLY Feast of our Abba and that makes it doubly significant.  We are celebrating the Feast of Abba as well as Keeping His Commandments as He said if ye love Me keep May commandments and my commandments are not grievious.

We shall study more of this later when we disucss how to keep your shabbat.

FOR WHOM was the Shabbat Made?

YaHShva said:  The shabat was made for man and not man for the shabbat.  Mark 2:27.

The shabat was made by YaHVaH because He ceased from His work and He in turn gave it to His people so that they too may cease from their works.  The shabat was made before there was even a single Jew or Hebrew and therefore it was not made for them alone.  It is YaHVaH's universal law even the Malakim in the shamayim worship Him on His shabbat, let alone the Jews or Hebrew.  Do succumb to argument that the shabat is of the Jews, if so, then salvation is also of the Jews, John 4:22.

The shabat was given to man who was given dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the air and the beast of the field, so that in ceasing from his own work he will remember that YaHVaH made the Shamayim and the Olam in six days and ceased from work on the seventh.  He made man who could work like Him and we are His image.

As for the sons of the foreigner who have joined themselves unto YaHVaH, to wait upon Him, to become His, for servants, every one who keepeth the shabbat lest he profane it, and who layeth firm hold on My covenants;
Surely I will bring them into My holy mountains and make them joyful in My house of prayer, their ascending offerings and their sacrifices being accepted upon Mine altar, For My house, a house of prayer shall be called, for ALL people.
YaHshaYaH 56:6-7.

His shabat is for ALL just as His house, a house of prayer for ALL, no discrimination, no color bar nor language nor station in life.  Just as He made air and water for ALL, the shabat was made for ALL people.

THERE Is Reward For Keeping His Shabbat.

If thou turn back from the shabbat thy foot, from doing thine own pleasure on My Holy day, and shalt call the shabat an exquisite delight, the holy day of YaHVaH, a day to be honored, and so shalt honor it rather then do thine own ways, than take thine own pleasure, or them speak thine own word.
Then shalt thou rest thine own exquisite delight upon YaHVaH, and I will cause thee to ride over the high places of the land, and will feed thee with the inheritance of Yaacov thy father, for the mouth of YaHVaH hath spoken.
YaHshahYaH 58:13-14.

HOW DO WE KEEP HIS SHABAT AND WHEN DOES THE SHABAT BEGIN AND END EACH WEEK?

But the SEVENTH-DAY is the shabat of YAHVaH Your Elohim: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your male eved (servant), not your female eved, nor your cattle, nor your Ger that is within your gates:
For in six days YaHVaH made the shamayim and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day: therefore YaHVaH blessed the Shabat day, and set it apart.
Shemoth 20:9-12

The Seventh day is the Shabbat, the answer is clear.  Shabbat begin at sunset of the sixth day and ends at sunset of the seventh day.  ...from even to even shall ye keep your shabbat.  Leviticus 23:32.

So since it is a WEEKLY Feast of Abba we celebrate it with a feast every week.  A Feast is for rejoicing and we shall enjoy the fruits of our labor by feasting on the shabat.

On Friday we break work at mid day and go home to prepare for the shabbat, it is the preparation day for the shabbat.

We go home prepare food and clean our house, then take a hot or cool bath, dressed up presentably an hour before shabbat falls and gather around the table laid with foods to welcome the shabbat with a shabat song and a prayer of thanksgivng.  No need to light any candle.

If thou turn back from the shabbat thy foot, from doing thine own pleausre on My Holy day, and shalt call the shabbat an exquisite delight, the holy day of YaHVaH, a day to be honored, and so shalt honor it rather then do thine won ways, than take thine own pleasure, or them speak thine own word.
Then shalt thou rest thine own exquisite delight upon YaHVaH...
YahshaYaH 58:13.

On shabat, no vain conversation, no business or mundane talk, it is a day to be devoted to draw close to Abba YaHVaH. Not doing your own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words, or doing our own ways...

No works, no travel, no burden, not only for yourself but your son, daughter, guests, servants male or female, your ox and cattle and your iron horse (motor cycle) and iron cattle (car).

For you will celebrate your shabbat "In THY DWELLING" where two or three are gathered together in My Name there will I be in thy midst.  Vayqira 23:3/MattIthias 18:20.

That is why the churches are humbug or phoney.  You need not pay for anything, you need not shake unclean hands nor hug unclean bodies.  You teach your family first then others. You observe your shabbat in your home, not church.  YaHVaH has no church but He has  people.

The Kingdom of YaHVaH has come to your house and your House will be the Kingdom of YaHVaH.

BECAUSE THE WHOLE WORLD HAS REBELLED AGAINST YAHVAH AND TURN FROM HIS SHABAT TO SUNDAY, THE DAY OF SUN WORSHIP...

There remains therefore a Shabat-keeping to the people of Elohim.
For He that is entered into His rest, He also has ceased from his own works, as YaHVaH did from His.
Let us labor therefore to enter into that future Shabat, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
Ivbrim (Hebrews) 4:9-11 our Abba listed in Leviticus chapter 23.

The Seventh day is the Shabat, the answer is clear.  Shabat begin at sunset of the sixth day (which is Friday) and ends at sunset of the seventh day (which is Saturday, do not be concern if it fall on Saturn day, Israel was shown long before saturn day was known to man that Shabbat was that seventh day when there will be no Manna and this day happen to fall on Saturn day does not make it pagan).  ...from even to even shal ye keep your shabat.  Leviticus 23:32.

So since it is a WEELKLY Feast of Abba we celebrate it with a feast every week.  A Feast is for rejoicing and we shall enjoy the fruits of our labor by feasting on the shabat--therefore, no fasting on Shabat.

On Friday we break work at mid day and go home to prepare for the shabat, it is the preparation day for the shabat, (see Mark 15:42 and John 19:31).

We go home prepare our food and clean our house, then take a hot or cool bath, dressed up presentably an hour before shabat falls and gather around the table laid with foods to welcome the shabat with a shabat song and a prayer of thanksgivng.  No need to light any candle.

If thou turn back from the shabbat thy foot, from doing thine own pleausre on My Holy day, and shallt call the shabat an exquisite delight, the holy day of YaHVah, a day to be honored, and so shalt honor it rather then do thine won ways, than take thine own pleasure, or them speak thine own word.
Then shalt thou rest thine own exquisite delight upon YaHVaH...
YahshaYaH 58:13.

You observe your shabat in your home, not church.  YaHVaH has no church but a people called by His own Name who will obey Him and do His will.  His will is to keep the Shabbat Kadosh..

The Kingdom of YaHVaH has come to your house and your House will be the Kingdom of YaHVaH. Hallelu YaH!!!

BECAUSE THE WHOLE WORLD HAS REBELLED AGAINST YAHVAH AND TURN FROM HIS SHABBAT TO SUNDAY-KEEPING, THE DAY OF SUN WORSHIP... AND SOME KEEPING FRIDAY AND SOME ANOTHER DAY, YAVAH HAS ONE DAY FOR ALL HIS PEOPLE TO UNITE THEIR HEARTS TO OBEY HIM IN "SET APART" SPIRIT.

There remains therefore a Shabat-keeping to the people of Elohim.
